Overview
As a Solution Architect, your primary role is to support the sales team by understanding customer pain points, designing best-fit technical solutions, and presenting these solutions effectively.
You will leverage your technical expertise and excellent communication skills to become a trusted advisor for customers, ensuring that their requirements are met with the most comprehensive and innovative solutions available. You will also be responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand Customer Requirements: Engage with customers to thoroughly understand their needs and requirements.
- Develop Comprehensive Solution Designs: Design technical solutions that align with customer needs and leverage best practices in the industry.
- Provide Technical Presentations: Conduct technical presentations and discussions to showcase solution designs and their benefits.
- Prepare Technical Offers: Develop detailed technical offers that fully describe the proposed solutions, including benefits and implementation plans.
- Guide Customers: Offer guidance on the latest solutions and technologies, becoming a trusted advisor to customers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure a collaborative and successful sales cycle.
- Stay Updated: Continuously learn new solutions and stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a PreSales Engineer.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Dell, HPe, or IBM Enterprise Solutions. Knowledge of Storage, Virtualization, HCI, and Backup solutions is essential.
- Preferable Skills: Knowledge of SAP HANA hardware design is a plus.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively present solutions to customers, articulating complex solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to actively listen to customers, analyze their requirements, and articulate solutions clearly.
- Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently.
- Learning Agility: Willingness and ability to learn new solutions and technologies.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English is a must.
