The founding father and foremost visionary behind Global Brands Group (GBG), Hisham puts his heart, soul, and over 27 years of industry experience into the company’s vision, mission, values, and best interests.
Having tirelessly built on his Engineering degree from the American University in Cairo and using his 10 years of distinguished service as a top performer in IBM’s ranks, Hisham launched Global Brands Group with the clear goal of establishing it as a leading IT service and solutions provider in the Egyptian market. He has since attended numerous international IT conferences and has earned the Golden Circle Award for Outstanding Achievement from IBM.
Hisham’s proficiency in the fields of Engineering, Computer Marketing, and Sales and Project Management have allowed him to elevate the company’s status year by year, thus allowing GBG to be the region’s leading Direct Trade and Systems Integration entity with over 300 employees and $70 million in annual revenue. Hisham has also championed a significant transformation in GBG, starting in 2017 when he adopted the cloud computing platform for the company and transformed it from a typical conventional Systems Integrator into a prominent player in the region in Digital Transformation; the most important line in the IT world nowadays.

A prominent Egyptian businessmen in the IT sector and a leading political figure in Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Said’s propensity for leadership, innovation, management and marketing have established him as an agent of change within Global Brands Group.
Displaying a clear aptitude for planning and management, as well as a history in governmental affairs, decentralization and management information systems development, his track record with the Egyptian government, as well as Procter & Gamble, have given him all the tools necessary to launch the company with CEO Hisham Said in 1997.
Said was one of the founders, and the first elected president of the Free Egyptians Party (FEP); a party that was founded in April 2011 and was backed by leading business, political, and cultural leaders. The FEP supported the principles of a liberal, democratic, and secular political order in post-Mubarak Egypt. He then won a seat in the Egyptian parliamentary elections of November 2011. In 2015 Dr. Said won a seat once again representing Cairo in a newly elected parliament and served a five-year term as an MP. He also chaired the Foreign Relations Committee in Parliament.
On the sports level and in 2014, Dr. Said was elected as vice president to Al Ahly club; one of the most internationally successful football clubs in the world. He was also the Egyptian champion of swimming 100m butterfly, as well as the African & Egyptian record holder in the same event from 1977-1987. His athletic career was crowned by representing Egypt in the Los Angeles Olympics of 1984.
To say that Fouad has a knack for business in all its forms would be quite the understatement. With over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry throughout the Middle East and Egypt, Fouad’s role within Global Brands Group isn’t only vital; he is one of its main cornerstones.
Fouad’s portfolio is as varied as it is exemplary, having played many roles leveraging his technology expertise. His expertise includes IT Services and Consulting, Sales Management, Business Development, Project Management as well as Banking and Finance.
Fouad has demonstrated his skill with some of the world’s leading technology entities. This includes his stints as Sales Manager for the Financial Services Sector with HP Egypt, his Sales Manager position for Banking and Telecom with Compaq and his Senior Banking Sales Executive position for Banking, Finance and Securities with IBM Middle East in Dubai.
Tarek Embabi is responsible for driving sales for Global Brands Group. With a 25-year track record in recognized sales achievement, he objectively commits to growing the company’s revenue in a competitive market.
A true champion of customers, Embabi actively strategizes methodologies to expand the group’s customer base, and strengthen client relationships. Embabi leads by the belief that sales is no longer about selling, but rather about building trust and educating. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business administration.
Kamal Abdel Halim governs all activities within the Global Brands Group, focusing primarily on direction, planning and organization. With more than 28 years of experience in IT sales and operation BASE planning, he effectuates and empowers the sales team to convert prospects to numbers in a fast-paced marketplace. His aptitude for intelligible communication, a profound understanding of the market and meticulous coordination enable him to effectively command the group’s operations.
Halim leads by the principles of balance, passion, drive, responsibility and rationality. He amplifies these ethics in the execution of all initiatives within the organization. Viewing clients’ time as a precious commodity, he enforces preparedness as a prerequisite for every action for fruitful outcomes and overall corporate growth.
Lubna Ghunemi spearheads the presales team to provide technical solutions to clients at Global Brands Group. With 16 years of proficiency as a solution architect, she is an expert in Dell, HP, Compaq, VMWare and Linux products. Her robust and specialized technical expertise has enabled her to expand the group’s portfolio through the dynamic shaping of vendor relationships. She also plays a supporting role in the sales force.
Lubna started her journey with Global Brands Group in 2012 as a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer and has since risen through ranks. Her driven mantra that every problem has a solution has made her an integral part of the group’s evolution and success.
Mohamed Ismail is the technical ambassador, official speaker, and manager of the Networking subsidiary company in Global Brands Group.
Mohamed Ismail specializes in constructing and evolving Global Brands Group’s sale strategies with a track record of more than 15 years in business development and sales. His keen acumen comes from his immense industry experience in managing networking policies, objectives, and initiatives. While the integration of sales programs is his forte, Mohamed’s broad-sighted vision allows him to augment experiences that drive customer satisfaction excellence.
His insights on the market’s emerging trends consistently enable him to plan, align, and coach, and evaluate GBG’s annual sales forecast and performance. His team effectively generates leads and successfully closes deals under his supervision, contributing to Group’s continued expansion.
Sameh Sadek manages professional services and support in Global Brands Group. He effectively streamlines and monitors project management practices to achieve successful deliverables consistently. His 21 years of professional experience in infrastructure service solutions and service management bolsters his capability to enhance, strategize, communicate, and implement customer solutions. He also creates and sustains new sales contracts and establishes good rapport with resellers who are a part of GBG’s channel programs.
Sameh comes from an Engineering background and holds a Master’s Degree in Information Security for E-Government, Business Administration, and Information Technology Service Management. He believes that work quality is never an accident but the result of a conscientious and intelligent effort.
Mohsen Youssef spearheads the execution of projects and communication channels in Global Brands Group. With immense insights of more than 4 decades in project management and customer service, he analyses new projects, evaluates risk, implements cost and reviews contracts that lead to overall business growth. Driven to supersede client expectations, he strategically oversees communication for all stakeholders and implementation teams in order to successfully see the fruition of projects.
Youssef believes that exceeding expectations is where satisfaction ends and loyal relationships begin. He comes from a background in engineering and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Ehab Adel is the headship of the project management office, as well as the outsourcing services department at Global Brands Group. With 25 years of acumen in professional project and service management, he hones the translation of clients’ requirements into actionable tasks and work packages. He leads his team to invariably accomplish successful deliverables through meticulous monitoring and organized delegation.
Ehab’s engineering background and Master’s Degree in Project Management have enabled him to apply consistent process-based practices in his supervision. He believes that the essence of management is to make knowledge productive.
Mahmoud Maarek is a strategist in customer retention and vendor engagement at Global Brands Group. He is gifted in building empathic relationships with people. With nearly 3 decades of competence in storage servers and client deployment and support, Maarek respectably leads the services department towards excellence and drives the escalation of customer issues.
He also presides over the technical growth and performance of the group through training and career development programs. Having been with Global Brands Group for more than 2 decades, Maarek relishes in the fulfillment of helping others. He strongly believes that the secret to corporate growth is the empowerment of personal growth.
Sameh Mohamed manages the Microsoft Business Unit in Global Brands Group. Backed with 14 years of experience in Microsoft sales and customer management, he tactfully handles the group’s Microsoft portfolio and ensures that brand goals and standards are consistently met and exceeded.
Sameh magnifies the group’s culture in customer-centricity in all his actions. He exemplifies effective communication and sales techniques that contribute to the overall success of the sector.
