Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing robust cloud security measures, conducting comprehensive security assessments, and providing expert guidance to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage cloud security controls using the Microsoft XDR platform.
- Conduct security assessments and hardening for Cloud and Active Directory environments.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering security recommendations and best practices to customers.
- Respond to security incidents and manage escalations effectively.
- Ensure alignment of security posture with documented procedures, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends, technologies, and frameworks.
Job Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in cloud security or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Defender XDR.
- Hands-on experience with DLP tools and Microsoft Purview.
- In-depth understanding of SIEM/SOAR platforms, especially Microsoft Sentinel.
- Knowledge of security benchmarks and frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks, Microsoft Security Baselines, CIS Controls, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
- Experience in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell.
- Proven expertise in Active Directory security assessments and hardening.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills for handling multiple projects simultaneously.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in consulting or working with a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP).
Education:
A university degree in one of the following or related fields:
- Computer Science
- Computer Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Information Technology
- Electronics and Communications Engineering
