The Smart Green Project initiative echoes the goals set forth in the National Climate Change Strategy for Egypt 2050. According to the minister, the strategy is connected to various national planning and strategy levels. Furthermore, it stipulates that about EGP 420 billion from the investment plan 2023/2024 will be channelled towards measures to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
