This is not the first cooperation between Amer Group and Microsoft. Amer Group had its email systems and internal communications moved to the cloud by shifting to Microsoft 365 years ago. This made the migration to Azure smooth and rapid.

The solution maximized electricity cost savings whilst increasing operational responsiveness and flexibility. Our tailored solutions were scalable and rendered a 30% performance improvement of El Araby’s multi-publishing software.

A Bandwidth Upgrade for Improved Cloud Connection

As a specialist in Cloud productivity and security, Global Brands Group thoroughly researched El Araby Group’s market requirements in order to design a bespoke solution for the organization. We aptly chose to implement one Riverbed SteelHead® CX device per Gbps connection for efficient real-time testing. These cloud-dedicated devices installed on the WAN connections of the perimeter network structure analyzed, optimized, and sped up the flow of data.

Al Nas Hospital is a children’s healthcare facility located in the Shubra El Kheima area, north of Cairo. With nearly 600 beds, it is one of the largest and most sophisticated medical centers that operates entirely on charitable donations. Al Nas Hospital takes pride in providing no-charge healthcare services that use cutting-edge technologies, innovative equipment, and advanced medical practice standards.

The facility spans five buildings, 110 rooms, 140 intensive care units, 10 operations rooms, four cardiac catheterization units, and 48 outpatient clinics. In order to uphold its vision to provide high-level Egyptian healthcare, Al Nas Hospital recognizes that advanced cybersecurity is critical in delivering high-quality care and mitigating harmful disruptions in its day-to-day operations.

The healthcare facility sought Global Brands Group and adopted a Dell Technologies solution to enhance its digital security to protect patient safety and privacy vigilantly. GBG also tuned up the data storage and systems stability to ensure that Al Nas Hospital is reliably operating on the latest systems. Today, the facility is not only prepared for disaster events but is also shielded against cybersecurity, threat, and attack vulnerabilities. Building Dependability and Speed

Customizing cost-conscious solutions around Al Nas Hospital’s needs, Global Brands Group engineered a hyper-converged infrastructure system with Dell EMC VxRail. The transformation included 10G Dell EMC Top Rack Switches that enabled stable and uniform speed within the facility. We also equipped the hospital with Dell EMC Isilon Storage to accommodate unstructured data such as those of radiology PACS images.

Protection Through Thick and Thin

Global Brands Group fitted Al Nas Hospital’s main and disaster recovery sites with state-of-the-art Dell Technologies. Applying Dell EMC Data Protection Suite, we secure the hospital’s data center with backups from Dell EMC Data Domain to disk appliances, thus enabling efficient data recovery in unforeseen events of disaster.

Founded in 1979, Oriental Weavers scalability Group is one of the biggest carpet, rug, and related raw material producers in the world. Its operation spans three manufacturing countries, 31 factories, and 130 distribution countries. The Group is also a global leader in exporting machine-woven carpets, as well as tufted and jet-printed rugs and carpets.

With an unrelenting vision to maintain its position as the world’s largest manufacturer in the industry, Oriental Weavers Group understood that IT innovation and flexibility were vital in helping it scale its business model across more diverse markets as well as the region.

The manufacturer Group sought Global Brands Group to help migrate its existing massive database to SAP HANA. Because SAP HANA is compatible with other databases, software, and hardware, the solution rendered Oriental Weavers Group flexibility, real-time insight, and analytic capabilities without causing disruptions to its existing interfaces. Combined with VMware virtualization and bolstered with disaster recovery measures, Oriental Weavers’ new IT infrastructure enabled unrivaled capabilities with the power to handle and manage larger volumes of data.
